This is a wonderful trip with wonderful women but I have had a few problems with the trip.  Not a common thing for me.

Going into El Paso I saw a number of dead animals on the road.  The first was a very large wolf,  the second was a Bob Cat,  The third was a coyote,  then a rabbit,  a raccoon and the last was some kind of rodent.

Flood irrigation of the pecan trees.

My riding buddy today, Monica,  in front of the Rio Grand.

I could not resist this photo.  It must be in a dogs play ground.  Fido runs around the park then runs to the fire hydrant.  Well... you know! Salem NM.

Great ride today 64 Miles on rough faux patched turtle back roads.  Kinda crazy but we did have some smooth roads with a great tail wind.

Heading to El Cento Ca, This happened.

I wanted to write a little about the new bike.  I am so impressed.  Yesterday was very hilly and hard climbing.  I cannot believe that I have the potential for an EFI ride.  It can Happen.  This bike flattens some hill while making some hills just a bit easier to get up...  We had a very cold day, temps in the 40's.

Today will be mostly down hill.  I have high hopes of a speedy ride.  I have been putting the bike through the test to drain its battery.

Some days are like that.

Hard riding today.  Left Alpine CA and road to Jucumba. All in all it was a good ride.  Tired but feel good.  It is quite cool with temps Hovering around 45Degrees.  Cool but climbable over5000 feet so I warmed up fast.

In early morning Thursday 30 women set off from San Diego on an epic cycling adventure from the west coast to the east coast of the United States, culminating in the beautiful city of Sankt Augustine.

The group of women, all avid cyclists and adventure enthusiasts, have been planning the trip for months, meticulously mapping out their route, organizing support vehicles, and gathering all the necessary gear for their journey. As they start out, the women are filled with a mixture of excitement and nervousness, unsure of what lay ahead. The first few days of their journey take them through the stunning scenery of the southwestern United States, as they make their way across deserts and through mountain ranges.

Despite the challenges of the rugged terrain, the women push on, encouraging each other along the way and share stories of their past cycling adventures. They stop at small towns and villages along the way, sampling local cuisine and take in the unique culture of each place they pass through.

As they cross into the southern states, the weather begin to warm up, and the women find themselves cycling through lush forests and along scenic coastal roads. They continue to push themselves, riding long hours each day, but always takes time to appreciate the beauty of their surroundings.

Finally, after weeks on the road, the group arrive in Sankt Augustine, exhausted but elated at their accomplishment. They celebrate their achievement with a night of dancing, laughter, and stories, reminiscing on the incredible journey they had just completed.

For the 30 women from all over, their cycling adventure across the United States is going to be an experience they will never forget, a testament to the power of teamwork, determination, and the thrill of exploring new horizons and friendships.

Thank you Elisabet.

I did not get enough of it the first time so... I am doing it again.  7 years ago, in March of 2015, I road my bicycle from San Diego California to St Augustine, Florida .  This coming March I will mount my new steed and head out.  If all goes well I will work to post pictures for anyone who would like to follow.  Unlike my first tour in 2015 I did not now any of the fine ladies, this trip I know 4 or 5.

Woman tours has connected me with many new women that I now consider kindred spirits.

I Need a name,  thinking about Diana, "Ain't no mountain high enough"!
